Event Registration Form Limitations

Hello,

Our organization has a 5K/Walk that we host every year, along with a raffle. The registration for the 5K/Walk is handled through a different website and not by a Raiser's Edge event form. However, the committee is wanting to use Raiser's Edge to collect the sales of the raffle tickets. I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not as the raffle tickets are only $1 each. My concern is the credit card fee's associated with running a charge for possibly only $1. Also, they are wanting to list out each raffle basket individually for participants to select which basket they would like their raffle ticket to go towards. Is there a limit to how many registration fees can be associated with one form?

  • You seem to have two requests here 1) tracking the revenue. RE could do. I would imagine that people will buy multiple tickets e.g. $50/worth of tickets = 50 tickets. That could easily be tracked in RE. Single ticket purchases would be a pain. The second part of your request associating tickets to specific "baskets" is not standard functionality. @Kurt Barnes could your NXT event add-on tools support this kind of request?
