Seeking Timeline for Volunteer API to Support ISV Planning Ahead of 2027 Database View Retirement

I’m posting here to make sure this reaches the teams and community members who work closely with API development, partner integrations, and volunteer management.

Our company is part of the Blackbaud ISV program, and our product relies heavily on volunteer-related data. With database view access scheduled to retire in the first half of 2027, we are actively planning the transition to fully API‑based integrations for our Raiser’s Edge NXT customers.

A key dependency for us is the Volunteer API, and we are trying to understand the current status and expected availability timeline so we can prepare our development roadmap and ensure continuity for shared clients.

Alongside this, the ability to view and amend volunteer and timesheet information within Web view is urgently needed by volunteering teams who are concerned about database functions being 'turned off'

I responded to a similar post from Landon but @Suzie Capps the last Product Update briefing (see recording) had a call for customers to participate in discovery for the Volunteer module. I know the team was eager for input!

Thanks Erik :) I have signed up at every opportunity to participate in discovery / development work for the Volunteer module, but I haven't had any response from Blackbaud yet.
