BBIP to WordPress - Sync Construction

We are using a WordPress site as a donor-facing form to show crowd funding data to campaigns. As we move from FundraiseUp to BBIP, we are seeking to start moving online gift data from BBIP into WordPress. No data should be synced from WordPress back into BBIP or NXT.

Blackbaud has let me know that the endpoints mentioned below are all available as a part of Raiser's Edge API:

• Constituent Name (or credit card holder name if that’s not possible)
• Is the gift marked as anonymous (Y/N)
• Gift Date
• Gift Amount
• Gift Campaign ID and/or Gift Campaign Description
• Some kind of unique ID connected to the transaction (currently we use Gift System Record ID and that would be ideal, but open to changes if needed)

Can you tell me more about how we can explore how to use an “Online Giving Endpoint” as a public-facing endpoint ? My understanding is that this could allow us to move gift data(submitted on the webforms) directly from BBIP into WordPress? This would be ideal as it would allow us to source what constituents are typing into the webforms
