Withold report card from one student

We want to run our ninth grade report cards but we want to withhold the report card from one student. Is there a way to do this??

The easiest way to do that is to set up a Hold and then apply it to the student.

Thanks for such a quick reply. Is there any flexibilty on the wording. It seems that you set up a code and it fills in some sort of template based on the codes you specify.

When you create the Hold code, you can add default text for the reason (which is what students and/or parents will see).

When you put a student on hold, you specify which Hold code to use. The default text is inserted into the Reason field, but you can edit that text for each student. You can add to the default text or replace that text completely.
