Moving to Online Donation Forms

Hi we currently have an customised donation page on our website which goes through stripe. we are thinking about moving to the Blackbaud Online Donation Forms but i want to understand about people who have set up a Direct Debit through Stripe. Do these get brought across or would we have to end up having Stripe and Blackbaud Payment Processing?

DDs work seamlessly through BB, we've been doing them since inception on NXT donation forms. I will say though if you are going to transfer your recurring gifts from Stripe to NXT through Tokenization, only credit cards will transfer. We moved the remaining recurring gifts from old webpages in Luminate Online to NXT in January and it is a very manual process and Direct Debit cannot be Tokenized, you have to call the donor, cancel the old one and set it up in NXT. DDs through BB are processed automatically, so when payments are due, they are processed through merchant services, then automatically turn up in an online batch which you would need to then commit. I was sceptical and did not understand the process even though read up lots about it. I suggest you create a form enabling DDs then test it your self with your own bank account and follow the process for a month, I did this and it became alot clearer, how the process works going forward,
