Future of events in RE

Hi, I have heard that BB is doing away with Events in RE/RE:NXT/Unified View. Can anyone provide me with confirmation of this or let me know what the plan is for event development in RE NXT over the next 2 years?

Where did you hear this? I never have. Blackbaud has continued to discuss the event record in all recent PUBs. They are not devoting a lot of new development to it, but I'm not sure there are plans to remove / retire it.

You may be thinking about Online Express event registration, which will be sunset at some point sooner or later.

Hi there! Just to quickly dispel this rumor: Events in RENXT are not going away.
Events remain a key part of our RENXT strategy and they are a core area we will continue building out in the Unified View experience. As Karen mentioned, we have plans to continue improving Events in the near future, and please continue to attend our Product Update Briefings as we share those updated timelines.

It was a co-worker that said that she heard it. I am glad that its not going away. Is there somewhere I can look at what the (I can't remember what you call them) the product timeline and goals are? An product update briefing?
