FE Dashboard Help

I've set up users who have view-only FE analysis/dashboard permissions. Each user has a record restriction allowing them to only view their department. The restriction works well for the dashboard I created. Unfortunately, users have access to insights in the dashboard section which allows them to view the entire org's information. Is there any way to prevent this?

Also, is there any way to share view-only reports without also sharing the GL overview? The overview shows inappropriate information like Health Advisor and Closing Assistant.

Setting up permissions that consistently and appropriately restrict data across the different FE modules (such as GL, Payables, and Analysis) is something my team and I have also found challenging.

I don’t have much firsthand experience with Dashboards, but I recently discussed Insight Designer within Dashboards during a Functional Expert call. Based on my understanding of how it currently works, if users have access to insights in the dashboard section, they can view all available information. The insights do not appear to apply the same record restrictions, so they won’t filter what users can see, regardless of the limitations you’ve already setup for those users.
