Access to SKY Developer Cohort Sandbox

Hi all,

I’ve been requesting sandbox access (emailing skyapi@blackbaud.com) for about a month and have not gotten any response. I was inspired to make an companion product to help with deceased constituent management following dev days, but this has put a damper on the project.

I'm also interested in how others on my team could join the cohort sandbox environment. I as added when I attended the Power Automate class in Chicago last fall, but it would be great if the others learning Power Automate at my organization could join as well.

@Zachary Curtis I see you were added on 6/2 and last accessed on 6/4. Can you provide more details on your access issues?

@Erik Leaver When I try to sign onto host.nxt.blackbaud.com I get an Access Denied error. I also wasn’t aware I had permission since I didn’t get an email. How should I be checking my sandbox access? Thank you for your time!

You should log into RENXT with your BBID. Once logged in, you should be able to change your environment by selecting your user account in the upper right and then change organization:

@Erik Leaver This is for an account not associated with my work organization. I’m developing my add-on independently so it is just associated with my personal email.

@Zachary Curtis Ah. Ok. I see your SKY developer cohort account uses the same email as your org account & share the same bbid. So you don't have access into that environment with your personal email.

I did some wildcard searches in the cohort for variants of your name & don't see anything that looks like your first name/last name other than the acct with your work email.

You'll need to make another request to the skyapi inbox with your personal email.

@Erik Leaver I am also requested access to a Raiser's Edge NXT sandbox via the skyapi@blackbaud.com email and haven't received any response. After finding this thread, I tried logging into NXT with the same email I used to sign-up for SKY API with, but I get an access denied. I would be eternally grateful if you could offer any assistance. Thank you!
