Free with Advanced Registration Programs

We have started to look into doing programs that are free with advanced registration and $5 at the door, but haven't been able to figure out an easy way to do this. Has anyone had any experiences with this?

    Hi Amber,


    We haven't done anything quite like this ourselves, but it may be worth exploring the Tickets and merchandise discounts to see if it's possible to create an automatic 100% discount for ticket sales done in a specific time frame.

    I didn't figure anything out with discounts but we ended up creating 2 new price types: Advanced Registration and At the Door. One is only available in Advanced Sales and Online Sales and the other is only available in Daily Sales. That way, nobody accidentally buys $5 tickets online (because people definitely would) and so that our Visitor Experience Associates don't accidentally sell free tickets at the door.
