Length of comments for gradebook or assignments?

OUr teachers are finding that their comments on assignments are being cut off. 

Is there a character limit for the 'comments' section of the assignment or in the gradebook?

    The error message they get is "Error on gradebook save."

    Thank you for your comments. We did have an issue crop up around saving comments this week, however that should now be fixed. If your teachers are still having issues saving comments, the best way to get that addressed is with a support case so that our team can trouble shoot for you.
