RE NXT giving statement showing gifts outside of selected date range

I'm playing with the giving statements and I cannot find an explanation for this. I have a pretty straightforward constituent list filtered by gift date range of last calendar year. In giving statements, I'm selecting to generate a PDF. My PDF result indicates the correct gift amount for calendar year 2020, but then there is a page 2 listing a gift history for 2012-2018. Why? I think that would result in more questions from the donor (especially since this donor's history goes back way past 2012). Can I not generate the giving statement for the date range in question exclusively? What am I missing here?

    Thank you for giving me a reason to go poke around this feature!

    The only thing I could come up with, though, is to check your date range. Try choosing something else, saving it, and then coming back in and changing it to be what you really want. I used a donor who's given over multiple years and it only ran 2020 for me as I asked it to. I got a 1 page PDF that only listed the giving for 2020. Alternatively, try exiting webview and coming back in? Like rebooting your computer?

    Besides the filter on your list, it looks like you have to select a “Gift period filter” when you run the statements.

    I do have the gift period filter set for the calendar year of 2020.

    Also, when I run the annual statement in database view for this constituent, the report is correct.

    No success. I exited webview last night and restarted and logged in this morning. I tried using a different constituent and got the same type of result…a 2 pager giving me the 2020 summation at the top and page 2 indicated various payments and pledges for 2010-2017….which is even more strange because the donor had gifts in 2018 and 2019 and they do not appear on the statement.

    I'm getting the same results as you now. It has additional pages for soft credits without regards to the dates.

    Thanks for bringing this up! I'm taking a look at it now. It definitely sounds like an issue to me.

    @Madeleine Holdsworth - do you mind confirming - is it only a problem for gifts showing in the “Other credited gifts” section of the statement?

    yes, that is correct. “Other credited gifts” section is the issue.
