Making an App where I as a Developer Don't have Access to the information of students

Hi there,

My school uses BBK12 as it's main system and I wanted to create an app that is able to pull information like things such as schedules and assignments. However, the problem that I'm currently into running with my school's IT department is that it's a security risk since even assignments and schedules contain confidential information. I was wondering if it was possible to create an app where only the students can access their own information and no one else can.

    As a student, your school isn't likely to give you security rights to do what you're looking for. You can, however, request access to the cohort sandbox, which is all demo information instead of real school information. You can also see if an employee of the school would be willing to sponsor/mentor you on this project and that staff member can be granted the security access instead.
