Generating Documents - Use more recent version of Word/Excel

Are there plans to update the templates to generate documents in a more recent version of Word/Excel? They still get created in Word/Excel 97-2003 which is archaic. This causes issues with Autosave when saving to OneDrive and we have to keep resaving them as a .docx or .xlsx which is just another step and inefficient.

    Hi Deena - Yes, we intend to update the way document management and document templates work in SKY view in the future, and this will likely include more direct support for modern Office files like .docx files. Please see our Product Update Briefing from October 2021 for more information about those plans - and we look forward to sharing more in the future as we get closer to delivering those changes.

    @Vin St John Hi Vin, I contacted support about an issue and they directed me here.

    It is good that documents generated from templates are in the docx format but the problem we have is that the templates can still only be created as doc or dot and for some reason, when converting from doc to docx, it removes a formula that was in a table in the document, that was used to total the sums in columns. Is there a plan to fix this?
