User audits?

Does anyone have tips or tricks they would be willing to share around auditing parent/student Contact Card information? We use ConnectRE, and the External relations team is understandably frustrated by correcting (for example) a salutation or address in RE, only to have it revert to an incorrect format the next time ConnectRE runs. Aside from pulling a full list into Excel and filtering/searching, are there any tricks you use?
