User audits?

Does anyone have tips or tricks they would be willing to share around auditing parent/student Contact Card information? We use ConnectRE, and the External relations team is understandably frustrated by correcting (for example) a salutation or address in RE, only to have it revert to an incorrect format the next time ConnectRE runs. Aside from pulling a full list into Excel and filtering/searching, are there any tricks you use?

Interested in hearing of any solutions. In Admission, we try to clean up contact cards once a family enrolls but it's an inconsistent effort.

@Lauren Henderson this is frustrating for us also. We review Handle Profile Changes daily and update/change to data standards as we handle these changes. The RE database specialist changes in Core before processing in ConnectRE if she sees issues - she spends a lot of time maintaining the addresses in RE. If the address isn't exact, RE creates another address for the constituent - she is constantly working in addresses and removing duplicates. I wish BB would do better on this connector!

@Lauren Henderson the parents check their contact information during registration and when they call us about contact info changes througout the year, we make sure the change happens on the Core side, so when RE Connect is done, it updates properly. It is a very manual process!

@Lauren Henderson I found a Power Flow in the developer forums, that emails me a list of fields changed in Core yesterday. These are the fields, and you might be able to add more:

You could use this list to export the RE records, and compare the RE export before and after Connect updates.
