How do you all account for semester 2 courses in a diploma?

We are implementing the use of diplomas at our school, and it doesn't look like there is a way for semester 2 courses to show as “in progress” before semester 2 starts. I'm curious what you all have done?

    @Colleen Wheaton this was a question at BBCon - no you can't see until 2nd sem starts. This is by design - I would put something on the ideas bank if one already hasn't and post the link here for others to vote on

    I had the same experience. There is an idea in the idea bank:

    We should be able to have an option of whether or not 2nd semester courses display before the 2nd semester term begins. How else can we effectively use the tool to check if students are on track!?
