Entry date / gift date / transaction date in query

I need to be able to build a query that shows when the data entry on a gift was done even if the ‘transaction date’ field was back dated. For context, we are debating using the trans date field to record either the postmark date or the received date - in either case, most gifts will end up backdated. I need to run a report on everything entered ‘today’ and capture the backdated gifts without comingling donations already reported.

    @Sarah Andrews the ‘Date added’ field will give you the date the transaction was entered into Altru. You can find in under the System Fields section. If you are looking at a Revenue query, in the middle where you select fields, scroll down and you'll see the section for System Fields.
