@Amy Horrocks No, simply because “Primary Contact” is a picklist value that each organization can customize. Not everyone uses contact types, nor do they have Primary Contact as an option.

If it needs to be more obvious, users could display the Contact Type field in the Relationships grid, and can configure different settings for each relationship type. For instance, when you have clicked on “All Relationships” you can see a different set of columns than if you click on “Organization Relationships”. You may have already known that, but I thought I'd mention just in case anyone else reading this post is not aware.
