Merging Tributes and Viewing Tribute Gifts in Raiser's Edge NXT Webview

Hi everyone,

I’m currently working in the webview of Raiser's Edge NXT and had a couple of questions I was hoping someone could help clarify:

  1. Merging Tributes When Merging Constituents
    With the recent updates to RE NXT, I understand that tributes are now included in the merge process when combining duplicate constituent records. Has anyone gone through this process recently? I’d love to hear how tributes are handled—are they automatically merged, or do we need to manually select which tribute to retain?
  2. Viewing Gifts Linked to a Tribute in Webview
    In the database view, we can easily see gifts linked to a tribute under the "Honor/Memorial" tab in the constituent record. Is there an equivalent way to view this in the webview? I’m trying to find a straightforward method to see all gifts associated with a specific tribute without switching back to database view.

Any insights or tips would be greatly appreciated!

    Welcome to the community @Julie Fournier! In the current version, there's no way to view tribute gifts like in database view. And tributes merge just like they do in db view. It creates a new iteration of them, but does not merge and combine them into one listing.

    Database view handles tributes much better currently. That may change in the future…

    I'm also looking for an answer to Julie's second question, but I can't find the "What's New" blog post that you're referencing. Can you point me towards it? I'm still learning to navigate the community pages.

    @Karen Diener, I should also add that I didn't realize this conversation was a year old. If you can point me toward any recent discussion of the possibility of viewing gifts linked to a tribute in webview, I'd greatly appreciate it.

    on the constituent record of the tributee, there isn't a quick way to see the list of gift that has been given in honor/memory of that person. At this time, you can only see it via querying on webview

    Is anything being done about showing a list of all the tribute gifts on the record of the honoree, as we currently have on the Honor/Memorial page in DBV? It is such a critical tool for us, when talking with family members of the honoree, to be able to quickly see all the individual contributions that were received in memory/honor of their loved one as well as the total count & dollars, that I find it hard to believe the info still isn't available on NXT. Is a fix even on the horizon?
