IT’S TIME TO HIT REFRESH ON YOUR COMMUNTY PROFILE! 

   

We’re challenging every Community member to take a look at their profile and take the following actions: 

• Add or update your profile pic. Community members with a picture are more likely to get views and other members will be more likely to engage with you. 

• Update your bio: Community is all about getting to know each other. Use the biography field to share more about your experience, where you live, or any hobbies or interests you have. Every little detail you feel comfortable sharing helps build stronger connections based on mutual interests. Already have your bio filled out? Then take a fresh look and see if there is anything new you can add to help people get to know you better? 

• Add/update your role: This is a great way to connect with other Community members doing the same thing as you. 

• Add/update the solutions you use: Check the products you use or are interested in so you don’t miss any valuable content being shared and so you can easily connect with other users! 

   

For the rest of this month, we are boosting the points values for updating your profile picture and updating your bio! An updated profile pic will net you 500 community points. Update your bio, role, or solutions and get 1,000!  

 

If you need a refresher on how to update your profile pic and your bio, we’ve got you.  

 

Are you more driven by badges? Good news! If you upload a profile pic for the first time, you’ll receive a participant badge. And the points awarded will help you move toward that next authority badge level!

GET TO KNOW A NINJA


Each week, we aim to bring you a little closer to one of our Blackbaud Community super users (AKA Ninjas). This week, we’d like to introduce Angela Tuttle; assistant controller at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts Foundation. She is a green ninja in the Blackbaud community and holds 5 different certifications in Blackbaud products.









What area are you in (geographically) and why do you love it?

I live in a small town in Stokes County, North Carolina. I was born and raised here. I am close to the mountains, two hours away from Raleigh, and four hours from the beach. I love having family and friends nearby and being close to the mountains, city, and beach.



What do you enjoy about the Blackbaud Community?

I love being able to connect with others who use Blackbaud products. Community is a great resource that I often use, and I am always learning something new. I have made connections that I would not have made elsewhere, nor would I have had the opportunity to hear how others use the products.



What is something that you never thought you’d enjoy at your current job that gets you up and motivates you now?

Every so often I get asked to assist with research whether it's a donor or something that was donated. I love going through the old files!
