I like the Feature Map, which makes it easy to see the plan! I needed that!

The feature map is great, but I'm looking forward to seeing how the goal management develops.

- Event registration online data review - woohoo! This is going to save me time by linking constituent records before it creates duplicates!
- The refreshed constituent record design also looks so much nicer and easier to read!
- The import refresh! One file to handled imports on new info and updates to existing records in one file.
- Hidden fields on Online Giving forms…very excited for more of this to be rolled out.
- Recognition programs (via planned giving module)! This is going to reduce manual effort that I have been working on via excel… **very time consuming**
- And looking ahead to the annual and loyalty programs
- Even further in the future the Lifetime recognition!
- And looking ahead to the annual and loyalty programs
Lots of good stuff, and eager to put some of this to use once it's available to me. Or… I'd need clarifying information on what is an extra cost to current subscription.

Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT®: Unified View:
PRO:
Import Function sounds good, specifically being able to work while the import is running.
The Recognition Program sounds good, but would like to see it in action, including the Planned Giving Module. Hope you can choose both Gift Types and Soft-credits, which are crucial in the day and age. Also will it be able to remove Donor Advised Funds, like I can do in a query, since we code this as an attribute.
CON:
Wondering if the Action Tracks in Database, which our Membership Department uses all the time, is the same as in RE NXT. I have said this before, but this is vital to our Membership Department.
Deceased Finder in Database is great since we have control over it, hence why we do not use the RE NXT Decease Finder. We want to have control over who we mark as deceased. Hope it works that way in RE NXT.
Action Reminders in database view is great for our staff. I know right now there is no equivalent to it in RE NXT, but hope it works the same way.
Was an informative briefing.

I'm super excited about the Recognition Programs. No more manually adding Custom Fields when someone reaches a giving threshold (hopefully!).

Looks good, but need more hands on when presenting…actually getting into BB and utilizing the things you're talking about. Learning happens easier for most people when seeing it live…not just talking about everything.

The Feature Map is great! I love the thought going into how the web needs look and function for those of us doing data entry and reporting all day every day.

Looking forward to easier process of query to export. Feature map is nice.
Wondering about the automation of the 'finders' - like to be able to review vs auto changed.
Would be nice to be able to bring our event reg process back in to RE. Needed the review and we need an option that fees are not recorded as gifts.
Hoping to see great things with LTG recognition. Hoping we can select gift types.4 -
I am looking forward to the tabbed layout for constituent records and the comments and date last changed fields coming over for phone and emails. Excited to see export. Also curious to see what updated data health services will look like. I am a bit wary, too, about deceased record finder being automated as I prefer to review them first. Will have to check out the features map.

T'was interesting. I think that the recognition programs will be a good look. I'm very on the fence about the tabs in constituent records. We'll see how it works out.
2 -
Not sure how the reworked constituent records will coordinate with our security policies, which limit who can see gift data. Will those fields be empty or masked? Currently, all the gift info is separate tiles, making it easier to manage the policies without alerting users to hidden data.

Are all the 'finders' going to be available for UK clients? I don't believe we have any right now ...

The Feature Map is an excellent addition, I will be referencing it often I suspect!
So far, my experience with Data Review for Events is that you guys absolutely nailed it, this is a huge win and is saving me tremendous amounts of time. This came out right before we opened registration for a decent number of events, and it couldn't have been more conveniently timed for me as well!
The upcoming feature I'm most excited about and cannot wait to see implemented is by far the Tab layout for constituent records. I cannot stress enough how much that is going to enhance my experience and workflow as a DBM!

Was there any detail on 'when' the new tab layout will be available?

Dariel- What makes you say you are on the fence?

Looking forward to recognition and gift entry enhancements.

Hey Joe! So glad you found the PUB helpful! We are definetly bringing action tracks into web view, likely be end of year. As for deceased finder, I'll take a look at the gaps and see what we can do to shore that up. Thanks so much for the feedback!
3 -
Thanks for all the great feedback!
1 -
We expect to release it in Q3 of this year.
4 -
Great feedback! We have some great micro trainings on recently releases that might be what you are looking for as well as make sure to attend the Inside track monthly series. We go much deeper into a specific area and spend more time showing the functionality.

Thanks Trit - I get asked alot by my internal teams (when we're reviewing roadmaps/timlines etc) exacly what dates the quarters relate to. eg for us Q3 = Oct-Dec, is it the same for BB and their roadmaps? I often mean to clarify this so if you can shed light it will save me forgetting to ask in the next meeting. ☺️

Yes - Q3 is Oct-Dec. Glad we cleared that up!

I'm not sure if remaking the tabbed structure of DBV is progress or regress. I understand that it's familiar, but it's also a bit antiquated in far as design and function. I'm really curious how these tabs will appear on mobile devices. Will they be cluttered or will they make sense?
I can't look at these updates from a strictly administrative standpoint. These are updates that will affect the entire organization, and there are more end users than admins. I want to make sure this doesn't impact the ability of other people in the organization to do their jobs, which in turn impacts my ability to do mine. I understand the point, but I am a little curious as to the rationale.
I think if this was an optional view, I'd feel differently about it. Having the ability to turn it off or on as a user preference/option would go a long way.

Question about recognition programs, it looks like our org now has it in wbv NXT but it doesn't recognize our enivonrment. It says "environment not found". Also when going into recognition tables, I get another error message that says page not found. Is it still being worked on or is this something I should submit a case about?

I'm excited about the constituent tabs. I tend to go to DBV to make changes to my constituents - much less clicking. Also looking forward to the constituent forms - we're trying to move some things away from Constant Contact and into NXT. I'm ready to make all the changes to the gifts.

Hey Amber:
I am not having any issues with the recognition program, but so for it is only for Legacy Program.
1 -
I'm really excited about the Constituent Profile refresh with the tabs. It'll be MUCH easier to navigate the different tiles. I also love it will be "sticky" to stay on the same tab if you navigate to a different constituent, and to edit multiple contact info (ex, address, email, and phone number) in the same window vs having to edit them one at a time.

The feature map is great. I'm looking forward to the complete gift processing in web view (gift adjustments, tributes, planned gifts, etc.) The tabbed constituent views are 1000% improvement on functionality!!!

Hi Trit - in the PUB I'm in right now Q3 looks like its actually July-September not Oct-Dec as discussed:
can you confirm which is correct please?
0 -
Q1 - Jan-March
Q2 - April-June
Q3 - July-Sept
Q4 is Oct-Dec
We expect you will be able to process all gifts in web view by September.
Hope this helps!
