    Hi Daniel,

In regards to the Constituent Page Update, we are planning to provide a toggle so you can go back and forth as needed to get acclimated to the updated view. We won't keep it on forever but enough time to make sure it is meeting the needs of you and your team.

    Thanks!

    Trit

There was a lot of interesting features - I am particularly looking forward to tabbed constituent records and not having to wait so long for the Giving History tile to pop into existence whenever I load a new record.

Also looking forward to seeing how web Import feature works in practice - I do a lot of constituent and event participant imports throughout the year and particularly for participant imports I have a lot of weird little notes left for myself to help me do it. If this can make that easier it would be AMAZING.

I'm also fascinated to see if Deceased Finder will really make it into RENXT in the UK and if it does, how useful it ends up being.

Also while you are all here, pls vote on these idea bank ideas about vouchers - I asked a question about whether this payment method would be making it into webview (it currently exists in DB view) and Anthony initially said there were no plans but will be looking in the ideas bank.

https://renxt.ideas.aha.io/ideas/RENXT-I-9810 - turns out I did already put my own idea in!

    https://renxt.ideas.aha.io/ideas/RENXT-I-8484

Also adjacent to these two about vouchers is this one about making Voucher Agency available as a column in lists:

    https://renxt.ideas.aha.io/ideas/RENXT-I-6935

Charity Vouchers are UK specific payment method it turns out - I had no idea! The ability to enter these correctly (since Gift Aid can't be claimed on this payment method and there are other conditions to how they get used) is important to pretty much all UK charities.

The teams group chat (I'm the designated PUB-watcher and they get a commentary of highlights while I watch) is excited about Recognition Programs (particularly the annual programs one), abandoned donation reminders (this might have been in the online giving PUB actually) and being able to import into gift batch.

  • I do look forward to being able to have all functions I need and use in one place. I'm really ready for Events to be better integrated and the planned changes will make it so much better! Duplicate records from Event sign-ups have been problematic for a while now.

  • Payment methods in NXT are a big sticking point for us - we are unable to plan moving any gift processing / finance team across to NXT until we know either Payment Method will be an editable field, or more Payment Methods will be added (and able to query / pull lists on them!)

  • I am excited for the gift entry updates and the tab view!

  • I'm looking forward to seeing how the new Constituent layout will work.

  • There was a lot of good information! I'm looking forward to the Constituent tabs. Those will be very helpful for us. I have some questions regarding the Data Health/Address Accelerator portion. I heard that the Data Health Agent would process addresses on our behalf. Will we have any control over it as we do in DBV? Can you give more detail on how this works?
Also, can someone explain what templated Actions are? I took the webinar on RE NXT Premium and AI, and it doesn't seem as the "templated Actions" are the same as current Action defaults as in DBV. Will we have Constituent and Action defaults in web view?

  • I am playing catch up from vacay… anyone know where I can I find the Feature Map and a recording from today's discussion with Bill? I have yet to review recent PUB recording which I found. Thank you!

I love the feature map - makes it easy to see when things might be happening. I did struggle with the link but someone in the Facebook group sent me one that worked.

I appreciate that C/F/A have already been updated in RENXT web view with the tabs; I think this is a good testing of the waters for the switch on constituent records. For our environment it's all working well with two exceptions: the Donors tabs are not populating for any of the three (the dreaded "That's odd…" pop-up) and for Appeals specifically, the Packages tab still only shows five at a time instead of a full list like the Gifts tab.

I am eager to see how the tabs will work with constituents. I initially was hesitant but after seeing the PUB I am more open to it, especially if it can decrease load time. I think if we hold some training for our fundraisers they will transition with it OK. Hopefully the permissions will transition well with the change. I am also excited for the additional fields finally making their way to web view and the ability to edit all contact information within the same window rather than all the clicks we currently have to do.

I'm anticipating the move of permissions from DBV to web view. Hopefully this will allow security to be a little more straight forward; I've always found web view security to be a bit confusing.

I love the Recognition addition. I have no idea whether my org will adopt it but it sounds like a fabulous idea. I cannot wait to see how the additional options will work.

Constituent forms seem to be a great option, as well. I do not know if we will adopt them or not but I love the possibility. Maybe once consent gets further developed and documented we will be able to move forward with the forms.

EVENTS! I am so excited that we will be able to copy an event. I also like that benefits and fees are making their way to web view. I do a lot of work in web view and after creating an event I realized the benefits still had to be entered in DBV. Hoping we will be able to see some benefit to the Online Data Review with event forms; glad they were finally included.

How can I forget the Feature Map? I'm excited to share this with my team in our update.

Grid View Batch: until PaperSave is integrated in web view we cannot utilize this at all; we can documents with every transaction. Are there any updates on this?

Workflows: will there be any updates to what can be done or built? I don't personally use them but I know some in my org do and they have not been mentioned from what we can find.

I'm excited about a few things. My org is getting into using the Events module in NXT, so having online data review for event registrants is super exciting! I'm also pretty pumped about looking into using Recognition Programs. I'm curious about what it can do and how it will help me support my team. Lastly, I cannot wait to be able to process all gifts in web view by September.

  • Looking forward to the updates and automation for recognition programs.

  • Excited about the online review—without this function, there were too many duplicates generated in the past.

  • I really am ready to be able to start doing all functions in one place. Writing queries in DBV is sometimes easier because we cannot access quite everything in NXT yet; but writing them in DBV is easier. I also look forward to being able to use Export and admin functions in NXT. I like to use global adds and changes, and it will be nice to have that in what is proving to be a better functioning platform.

  • I am most excited about import, single row export, and recognition programs - especially things that we can do that are (1) included in our current subscription and (2) does not require a Masters degree in Power Automate. :-)

I'm SO incredibly excited about the new goal setting area. We have an entire dashboard outside of RE to track our department goals but it would be much more helpful if we could have that in RE. I've been lamenting the ability to show a monthly graph on our FY fundraising of goal vs actual donations and we're FINALLY getting it!

  • Excited to see the refreshed constituent record layout with tabs and imports!

  • Event registration online data review

  • I think the new tabs on the constituent records will be helpful for more casual users to find the information they are looking for without needing to scroll and potentially missing it. Data reveiw for event participants is also a great add - a lot of the duplicates i merged before were results of folks signing up for events.

  • I was super excited about all the new changes until I heard about the new donation form fee. I never even received an email and had to hear about it from other users. Why wasn’t this part of the product updated briefing? Especially since we only have about a month to figure out how to budget for it now.

  • We are so please with the Constituent forms and that we can add questions we want to ask are customise it.

For all you folks that get excited about some of the new features, like the Recognition Program, have you even tested it out (right now they only have Legacy Recognition). I tested it and while you can choose certain things, including soft credit to Donors or Soft Credit Recipient or Both (which both you would need to choose to capture hard credits from DAVF and the donor), there is no exclusion like attributes, where you can, at least for us, remove a source attribute of Donor Advisor Fund. So you will have a recognition of Legacy for DAVF. And you cannot report off of this or query off of it as well, since Recognition is just a tile in RE NXT to just view. If you choose Donor, you just have the DAVF (the hard credit). If you choose Soft-Credit Recipient (you may get the spouse and not the main person or the employee and not the ORG, So you want to choose Both, but you do not want a DAVF to have the recognition, just the donor who was soft credited.

This needs to be thought out more.

In Database view, you can remove such items like in RE Mail or Query:

  • Two new features actually that I'm really looking forward to: single-row query and import!

So many great things shared in the PUB - much of which has been commented on already.

I'm very curious to see what the plans are for Address Accelerator. @Trit Mulligan are there plans to bring over address attributes? I find address attributes for Address Finder and Address Accelerator to be critical for my clients who have an extensive mailing program.

It is a little unclear to me what Address Accelerator will have to offer other than standardizing and applying county if it isn't offering information on why a DPC can't be applied.

  • I think I am most excited for a) gift processing - it's going to be so easy to do and b) constituent tabs! I really like the database view for constituent profiles, so when I heard that they were going to be updating web view to match that, I was SO excited!

You are actually contacting Blackbaud folks from the PUBs about your concerns, correct? I'm not sure they are reading all these posts and this is the kind of feedback they need to hear directly from the users. There are SO many nuances we have valuable insight about that they just don't have so we need to make sure they hear from us.

  • The feature map is very helpful to keep track of everything coming. I'm also excited to use the new constituent tab view.
