Industry and Profession in Web View

It's my understanding that Blackbaud will be moving the Industry and Profession fields from Raiser's Edge database view into NXT Web View later this year (2026). Can you give me an estimated time for that, AND can you tell me where the fields will "live" on the constituent profile page?

    Hi Karen!

    The timeline isn't yet known beyond "in the second half of the year." We'll update What's new in-product documentation when they're released.

    Industry:

    • It currently exists on organization constituent records, under Constituent summary.
    • It does NOT exist when editing the relationship, or on non-constituent organizations.
      • For non-constituent organizations it will be in the same place: Constituent summary.
      • For relationships, it will be visible and editable on the relationship to the organization.

    Profession:

    • Will be available on both sides of the relationship between an individual and organization.
