Been through some BB product presentations and looking at the dev days schedule - the SDK and customization seem to be missing from both. Is this something BB is going to continue to invest in? What is the roadmap?

    Hi @Arlette Slachmuylder - as we move more to SKY UX, you will start to see updates to the SDK to support this.

    SKY for Blackbaud CRM represents the latest UI-layer however, the database components will remain unchanged. For existing customizations built using SDK and best practice, SKY for Blackbaud CRM will attempt to render customizations automatically with limited, to no updates required. However, we are investigating tools to move complex SDK customizations to SKY UX as easily as possible.

    This response is in the frame of Blackbaud SKY. Was there a specific task that you are looking to leverage from the SDK - we are committed to the SDK and will continue to support it - our recent attention has been on a smooth migration to SKY in the last couple of month.

    Thanks for the response, Chris. My question is in the context that the Visual Studio components of the SDK don't seem to have changed in many years, and the support for the SDK seems ancient. I am wondering whether a refresh of all of that is in the roadmap.

    Some of the pieces such as the UI model, does not seem to work well in the most current versions of Visual Studio.

    Also seems like there could be some great AI add ins to the Visual Studio components, such as skills, that could make this work much quicker.
