Hide Assignment Center Button?

Hello, I am wondering if any other schools are NOT using the blackbaud gradebook/assignment center, and have successfully hidden those links for Faculty and Students in their My Day view.

We're implementing the SIS but staying with our current LMS for now, and trying to ease the transition and make things as simple and clear as possible for our users. Support tells me the Assignment Center icon is hard-coded and cannot be hidden, unlike the other icons (e.g. Nurse) that go away when access is removed through Roles and Tasks.

@Michael Morrissette @Jacqueline Koca is there any way to do this for our environment?

    Hi @Lauren Henderson - I can confirm that hiding that completely is not something we are able to do at this time.

    Curious though, if using another LMS are you all using OneRoster to pass assignment grades back into the SIS, or is the LMS and SIS completely unconnected at this time?

    Hi @Michael Morrissette, I appreciate your confirmation that I hadn't missed a task/role/setting.

    The LMS and SIS are completely unconnected for grades and assignments. We are planning to pass rosters over to the LMS from blackbaud, but all class materials/assignments will occur in the LMS. Teachers will enter midterm and final grades and comments directly in blackbaud.
