API Call Limits

Hi everyone! I'm building a new flow that connects to a ton of RE NXT data, and it dawned on me that there are API call limits. I have 25,000 calls per day right now, but when I go to my Developer Analytics, it shows 0 use even though I did a test last night that should've called almost 14,000.

So I'm wondering… are my API call limits only affected by using HTTP methods? Because I've only been using the RE NXT connectors and actions and am thinking that perhaps those actions, regardless of how many are used, don't affect my call limit?

I just want to make sure the Analytics Dashboard is working as intended before I attempt another test today or not.

    Hi @Joe Shaver Calls through the Power Platform connector do not count against your daily limits!

    Thanks, @Erik Leaver ! The best answer I could've hoped for! To confirm then, my daily limit is only affected if I use my subscription key via HTTP? Just trying to wrap my head around it all, even if I'm safe with the flow I'm currently working on.

    Hi @Joe Shaver the send an http request is in the SKY Add-in connector so should not count against calls.

    Ah great point! Thanks! Then what would affect calls? Or does it affect partners more than customers?

    It affects anyone making API calls outside of the certified connectors. We see customers & partners using a variety of tools that count against the call limits.

    If you use HTTP action from Power Automate rather than Send an HTTP request action in the Blackbaud SKY Add-ins connector, those would count against your API limit.
