Pledge Gift Types Not Showing in Campaign & Appeal Performance Dashboards (NXT)

Hi everyone,

I’m wondering if anyone else has run into an issue where Pledge gift types are not appearing in dashboards. I’ve noticed this specifically in my Campaign and Appeal Performance dashboards. I’m not sure when this started, but I only caught it because the pledges do appear in an Appeal Giving graph within the same dashboard.

Has anyone else experienced this or found a resolution?

Did you check to make sure the correct revenue type is defined and selected?

Hey Alex… thank you for getting back to me. Just to let you know more information about the issue that I am experiencing. This issue appears on a dashboard that mirrors our financial Biweekly report, and was created May 2025, and operated without issue, until now.

The dashboard has 3 tiles that capture appeal performance: The first 2 tiles are Appeal Performance tiles that display the revenue for each Appeal Category (Cash & Pledged gifts / Cash in gifts), the third tile is the Appeal Giving graph, that displays both committed and received gifts. The pledge gifts are appearing in the committed lines of the Appeal Giving graph (that is how i was able to identify the issue).

To further investigate i created a dashboard that was only pledges by appeal, no dates, all amts were $0.

Can you specify what "dashboard" you are talking about?

Insight designer's dashboard? appeal page's dashboard?

I am just using Report Builder and using the out-of-the-box insights (I dont have Insight Designer).

Also for more context, below is a Campaign performance tile from a test dashboard, this was created to only show pledge gifts for All Time. The number of gifts is not 0 but the Revenue shows $0.

this looks familiar but can you tell me which menu option you used to get to this dashboard? (may be different for me b/c I have Insight Designer too)

The insight is called Campaign Performance and it is in the Dashboard Builder insights List

I see, unless there are additional gift type (as there are a few selections) that was used as filter (page level, insight level filter), I would say it's a bug to report to BB. I see there are "Number of gifts" but no amount, which is odd itself.

Interesting - I am working with a completely new client who said their dashboard (also created in Report Builder) "stopped giving accurate numbers as of about 2 weeks ago". I just explored the issue last night / this morning.

I have also found that it is excluding pledges in the summaries, even though Pledge is an included Gift Type. I was planning to log a case with Blackbaud this afternoon.

I have an open case about this issue with Blackbaud. Good to know it is not just my organization that is not the only one that is experiencing this issue.

i have an active support ticket on this, it seems something changed in the last week, as the totals do not show the pledges in my dashboards, but if you click to export, the pledge revenue is included without a change in gift totals. i shared this link to the support team
