Help with getting started with SKY API and Volunteers from RE DB to RE NXt

I am very confused on how to get started with the SKY API, and then working to get volunteer information from the RE DB, primarily job assignments, to display in RE NXT. I can't seem to locate a reasonable start for training in SKY API and instructions for what to download and what other outside tools I may need. I am on a MAC, so in the past the Microsoft tools seemed limited and convoluted for me in that environment. Looking for someone to help me get started. I have developer and database administrative experience, but these initial setup steps are nonsensical to me. Thank you for whoever might be willing to point me in the right direction to get started

    APIs for Volunteer are currently fairly limited, as is the Volunteer tile in RENXT. And the RENXT webvire volunteer tile currently does not have any way to customize. The last time I looked at the roadmap, more robust APIs won't be out til sometime next year.

    Agree with @Nicole Holt about the Volunteer API/information. In terms of getting started with something like PowerAutomate, I would recommend this post from @Austen Brown.

    For your specific situation, if the information you want to see in webview is available via query, you could create your own Sky Add-In Adaptive Card tile. This is a bit more advanced so if you are just getting started with Power Automate try the recommendations in Austen's post first to get familiar with things.
