Giving Day Donations

Hi Everyone, after a bit of help. We are in the process of planning our next giving day and I really want to use NXT Donation forms and BBMS to process our gifts. Its so much easier than using Stripe and as we have complete cover it means we will receive the full amount of the gift. Trouble is our giving day consultants advise that they cannot link the NXT donation form to their platform meaning that any gifts received will not be automatically recorded on the donor wall for the giving day. Has anyone used found a way around this or is it just a case of muddling through with Stripe?

if it's some custom built platform from the consultant, then it's up to them to build the integration with the RE NXT donation form. It can be done via SKY API

How important is it to have that donor wall? That is the question you all need to ask.

  • Good point.

I think Joe has identified the critical decision. If the donor wall is that important, everyone needs to accept that your actual gift processing behind the scenes will be more cumbersome and time-consuming. Everything is a tradeoff.

Does it have to be live? Can you create and generate a report or query with the information to the consultants possibly after the fact? Donor recognition is a key part of stewardship, and if it's important, there's always a way to resolve it.
