Media tab changes- early??!?!

We just started having issues with our database view media tab. The pdf gets uploaded but then we can't view them. Additionally if I open up an old pdf file, I can't double-click it like I used to to open it and read it in full. Is this happening to anyone else?

    Yes, we are having the same trouble. We can't open our media attachments today.

    wow, so nice of them to make viewing a media attachment so difficult!!! Thank you for posting this as we noticed the same thing yesterday.

    Thanks for doing the research. Yep, they NEVER mentioned any changes to .pdf files. I did suspect that would be next, but maybe with some warning. Wow, this is the worst transition I've ever experienced with any software provider I've worked with the past 20 years.

    I just voted on an idea to switch this feature back. Go to the idea page and seach for media. You'll find it. If enough people vote for it, maybe they'll fix what a mess they created.

    I was confused because PDFs were not mentioned (someone else said this, so I am glad I am not misunderstanding). What I find interesting is it will preview when adding as new, but that's it. Viewing media in NXT is a nightmare. The description doesn't crossover to NXT, so I need to toggle back and forth. I am so frustrated by these surprises.

    This discussion makes me feel much better, I searched through all communications to find where PDF's would be affected by these changes and could find nothing!

    We are considering making the move to NXT and have been assured that all PDF media files will be accessible. Does anyone know the accuracy of this?

    We also use NXT and so far, no issues there with adding and viewing PDF's
