Recurring Gift Batches - Can I use to replace a batch that has the wrong dates

I have a batch with a lot of gifts that was committed, but not posted. I need to change some of the gift dates and thought that making the batch recurring and changing the dates would solve this. However, if I update the recurring batch and commit, how can I delete the gifts that were added in the original batch so I don't have duplicate gifts in the constituents records. Is there a better way to tackle this? Any thoughts? Thank you!!

Hi Leah George‍ - There is an easy fix for this, without adding duplicate gift records to RE.  You can utilize "Globally Change Records" under Administration to fix the gift dates - Check out KB Article #52659 for instructions on how to do this.
