Official Notes - Help! How do you manage them?

My admissions office is having a terrible time keeping track of Official Notes. We make a lot of notes daily to keep a "story" log of our contacts. At first, we were creating a new official note with each new contact, but that was getting overwhelming. Now, we have standardized the notes and just reply to the corresponding notes. However, when we select "unread", it doesn't filter. We have to scroll, load, scroll, load, until a note appears that is blue. My question is . . . how have other schools managed their official notes? Is there something else we can be doing?

I noticed a peer has not answered your question.  


I searched the Blackbaud Community and found this forum that has a similar question. You may get some good tips from their answers.  Or if you are still interested in finding someone to bounce ideas around with, you can reply to your question @ mention some of the people with "note" experience in the previous forum to see if they have insight on your question.
