RE, BBMS and Admin Rights

This topic came up while creating policies and procedures, so I thought I'd put it out here for feedback. For those who have a BBMS (Blackbaud Merchant Services) account, who has control of the account? Development or Accounting/Finance? Is it shared between the departments? Who controls the admin account? Who adds the users? Thanks in advance for your answers!

Access to our BBMS account is controlled by director of finance. Accountant and DB Admin have access to the account. I was added by director of finance so that's who adds access for our org.

For us its Foundation (Finance). The Foundation Executive Director and myself (Assistant Controller) maintain the account.

That is a great question. Although the Accounting & Finance office closely works with our office for GL, our Advancement team is in charge of BBMS. The Admin of this is our Adv. Services Manager.

As the database admin, I control access to our BBMS account. One person in Finance has access and one other person in development has access.
