Alumni Directory login problems for alumni

Hi all, I'm new here. Thanks for reading this. I'm glad we have an online forum for helping each other; I hope to be a helper at some point.

So I'm having the following problem. We recently set up an alumni directory in NetCommunity. We found ourselves beset with some alumni saying they couldn't log in after a successful registration. Thankfully, we were able to clear most of them up by going into the directory page then using Page Properties/Targeting & Security to grant access to all Netcommunity members.

But at least one person is still not able to log in. I'm at a loss. Has anyone out there experienced these login issues for constituents?

This sounds like some getting up and running issues with a new alumni directory on the site that we sometimes get questions about from other clients. It sounds like you have worked through most of those issues. But if there are still some kinks, please start a support case so we can help out.

  • Thanks Miranda! I'll keep in mind that I can still come to blackbaud support. We did find a solution that worked for about 90% of the problem cases. There is just one from the other day that we can't seem to resolve. I'll keep you guys in mind as we work on it.
