OLX Donations with address updates and Connect RE

We received lots of donation for Giving Tuesday via OLX. Some of our donors provided updated addresses, phone numbers and email address. While I am excited to capture that information, I am afraid we are going to lose it when we connect RE as info only travels from CORE to RE. I need a solution to updating this information in Core so I don't lose it the next time we connect.

@Sarah Chik - How do you normally update new information en masse from RE to CORE?

@Austen Brown - I don't ever have bulk information updates. As something comes in, I update in both systems.

@Sarah Chik - I recommend reaching out to CORE support to inquire if it is possible to do bulk updates/imports within CORE with RE data, and if it is - how to do go about doing that.

@Austen Brown - I appreciate that feedback; however, I am even struggling to pull the data of what was updated through the OLX donations from RE. Right now, I have to manually go through a query of every change made that day (be it a gift, an address, an email, a tribute) and see if it matches in Core. There is no way to export this information from RE, unless someone knows more about this.

@Sarah Chik - You are correct, that it is not an exact science, but here are some tips/tricks that might help you out:

• Create a series of constituent queries that look for contact information with a date added or date changed within a specific date range. For instance, a query for recently added or changed addresses may look like this - edit to match your data entry standard, this will find constituents with a recent gift through OLX that also have a piece of contact info recently added or updated.
  Last Gift Specific Attributes Online Express Form Name Description not blank
  AND (Preferred Address Date Added between 12/5/2022 AND 12/8/2022
  OR Preferred Address Date Last Changed between 12/5/2022 AND 12/8/2022)
• Export these queries through an Export, here are instructions on how to create an export: https://kb.blackbaud.com/knowledgebase/articles/Article/75410
• Export data from the same constituents from CORE. Utilizing Vlookup in Excel combine the data into one spreadsheet - with like information side-by-side. • From here you should be able to tell what data is new, and needs to be added to the CORE system.
