Add Notes for the Constituent Actions through api

Hi, We have Notes in Action and on adding new Action there is “Title” field in Database View but the same is missing in WebView.

I have tried to find the api for Action Notes list/add/update/delete, but i think there is no api for the same.

Also we are not seeing the “Title” of the note in WebView. So how we can get the Action Notes or add/update Notes.

Yes, there is no API support for action's note.

As for field in a notepad question, you can read up on this here: https://community.blackbaud.com/forums/viewtopic/426/67945

You can use Query API to get Action Notepad info

Is there any plan to provide the API Support for that because we can manage that from Webview but not with API?

I do not work for Blackbaud, I cannot answer relating to what Blackbaud has plan to do or not.

You can use IdeaBank and search for potentially idea others already proposed and vote on it, or propose your own idea.

If you want to learn more about what is Blackbaud planning to support in webview and API going forward, I suggest you search for Blackbaud's roadmap and attend their quarterly PUB (product update briefing)

As for why it is possible to do something in webview but not API, from what I recalled, Blackbaud was employing a webview-first stretegy and then make deciding on if that function needs an API endpoint support. I do believe they are looking at more “API-first” approach now, as they have rolled out Query API and is putting finishing touch on Query on webview.
