Weekly recurring "Error: Run-time error '-2147221164 80040154 ' Class Not Registered" problem

Greetings,

I am attempting to assist a client who is encounter a repeated problem with The Raiser Edge.

Every week (mostly Tuesdays), this person encounters the "Error: Run-time error '-2147221164 80040154 ' Class Not Registered" problem.

The instructions at the following address temporarily resolves the problem:

However, the problem returns the following week.

This person's environment:

  • The Raiser's Edge Enterprise (Enterprise Version: 7.96.6402.15); see image below for more details.
  • Windows 11 Education 64-bit; Version 23H2; OS Build 22631.4317

This person is the only one in their team that encounters this issue; this person's colleagues are running The Raiser's Edge in the identical environments on their respective computers without issue.
