Unable to access Raiser's Edge data after connecing Power BI

I am brand new to Sky API and Power BI.

I just created my first connector for Power BI and followed the directions Blackbaud provided on https://github.com/blackbaud/powerbi-connector?tab=readme-ov-file#readme. However I'm having issues with enabling the Power BI Desktop. I continue to get “Access to the resource is forbidden” messages.

I believe I connected the app correctly and it says it has full access.

I checked the security settings within Power BI desktop to Allow any extension to load without validation or warning.

I even restarted my computer. I don't know what I'm doing wrong or missing that I can't connect to our database.

Since you are able to see the Blackbaud option to get data, means you created the mez file correctly, however, did you update the files with your subscription key, client id, and secret for your application? See post here:

In the application you created in developer.blackbaud.com, check if you add the redirect URI:

https://oauth.powerbi.com/views/oauthredirect.html

in the same application, make sure Scope is set properly with access.

Also, do you have multiple environment? (perhap a test environment), check the “Environment” tab in application to ensure the right environemtn of RE NXT is connected with Access and Authorized.

Good morning! I have been utilizing this tool for a client and suddenly got the 'Access to this resource is forbidden.' error code even though I am still an admin and the app has full access/is authorized.

I followed the advise to disconnect the app and reauthorize but I am still getting the error.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
