I'm filling in for Shannon this week on Community Happenings! 


It's an exciting time to be a member of the Blackbaud Community. Last week alone, we saw 5,259 friend requests sent in Community. It's fantastic to see community members build strong connections. It's even more exciting when they acknowledge each other for the help they are getting here! In Best Practices, we have a very active thread where you can give a shout-out to someone who has helped you out. 


Here's a look at what else is happening in Community this week:

bbcon 2017:

• There's a lot of buzz around bbcon in Community! If you've registered, claim your attendee badge. You can also check out the bbcon Community to receive up to date information about this year's conference. 
  
   
• There is an encore bbcon webinar coming up on Thursday, May 18th at 1:30pm (est.) Check out 2016's talented speakers, philanthropic leaders, and experts! Thursday's session is "Growing Your Annual Fund Through Sustained Giving Programs." It's the first in a series of encore webinars, so be sure to check them all out.

Make an appearance:

• Luminate has a great webinar coming up called, "Opening a World of Possibilities with Crowdfundraising." It's tomorrow (Wednesday, May 17th) at 2pm est. Registration is still open, so hurry and claim your spot!

Get involved:

• In the Raiser's Edge Community, they are testing out a new tab called, "no response." It filters out discussion posts that still need answers. Do you find that tab useful? Would you use it to help others with their questions? Vote in this poll!

Stay Informed:

• Have you checked out Work Center in RENXT yet? It's a one-stop shop for fundraisers! Find out how you can set it up by reading this blog in the RENXT Community.

That should do it for this week. We are one challenge away from wrapping up our Spring into Action contest. I want to say thank you to everyone who has participated.
