We want to hear from YOU at bbdevdays virtually on June 2-4, 2026!

Whether you’re skilled in pro-code solutions or low-code innovations, now’s your time to share your insights as a speaker and connect with the developer community. Submit your session by March 3.

What’s New

We’re excited to announce several powerful enhancements that are now available in Financial Edge NXT web view. These updates are designed to streamline your workflows and give you more control over your financial data.

  • Work with allocations and pools by skipping the manual setup. Copy existing pools to accelerate configuration, maintain consistency, and build a repeatable, error‑resistant workflow. For existing allocations, rename or save to update and repurpose your setup.
  • MICR line generation for printed checks. MICR line generation has been enhanced for improved accuracy and readability, and you can now adjust the MICR line position up or down to better align with your check layout.
  • Security improvements. Administrators can edit user names and delete users not linked to a Blackbaud ID directly from the User security tab within Record security. These updates streamline administration while preventing changes to your own user record.

The following features are in EAP for some customers.

  • Blackbaud AI - Chat
  • Automated deposits - only for gifts disbursed through Blackbaud Merchant Services (now part of Blackbaud Integrated Payments)

The following features are in LA for some customers.

  • Reports generate seamlessly in the background so you can work without disruption.
  • Receivables
  • Recurring invoices
  • Manage returns
  • Third-party applications

What’s Next

We’re currently working on several features and enhancements for Financial Edge NXT web view. Here are some of the updates you’ll see in upcoming releases:

  • Expenses and Payables — Generate invoice requests
  • Allocations — Manage references, groups, sequencing, and indirect cost allocations
  • Automated deposits —  Only for gifts disbursed through Blackbaud Merchant Services (now part of Blackbaud Integrated Payments)
  • Public sector bodies report (Canada customers) — Will be available in Receivables with updated filters
  • Business activity statement (Australia and New Zealand customers) — Will be available in Receivables with updated filters

Total Web Solution Journey

We've extended the completion timeline for Total Web Solution (TWS) to the first half of 2026.  This extension decision was made to ensure you have time to adopt, while also allowing time for improvements in usability and performance, based on your feedback!

By slowing the process, we hope users will feel assured and well-supported as they adapt to Financial Edge NXT's new workflows.

Stay engaged with our TWS journey right here and through our dedicated Total Web Solution page, the Product Update Briefing (PUB), your monthly emails, and of course, the in-product notifications. These resources will keep you up-to-date on the latest developments and what's coming next. Thank you for being part of this exciting transformation!
