New free tool to sync Raiser's Edge NXT actions automatically to Outlook or Google calendars.

I’ve learned a ton from being part of this community, and I know the group has strict rules about no sales pitches. So, I want to be super clear right out of the gate: I'm sharing something we built to solve a huge RENXT headache, and the core tool is completely free.

After 22 years working in the nonprofit and grants space, I know how frustrating it is when your systems don't actually talk to each other. We kept seeing RENXT users struggling with calendar integration, a problem that has been around for years.

So, led by Ken Swift, our team at NetOutlook built a fix. It’s called NXTensions, and it automatically syncs your Raiser’s Edge NXT actions straight to your Outlook or Google Calendar. You can also use it to create and manage stewardship actions effortlessly.

It just went live on the Blackbaud Marketplace, and the basic plan is totally free.

Next up, we’re adding daily emails for overdue actions and the ability to build shared action calendars from a query.

@Kim Wolcott Hi Kim, thank you for the question. You actually get access to all of our features on the free plan. The paid tiers only come into play if your organization makes more than 1,000 Sky API calls in a single month. Since we have to pay for those API calls on our end, we just had to cap the free usage at that 1,000 mark.

@Chris Nance does this sync all actions to an outlook calendar, or just actions related to gifts?

@Tara Wenzel Great question! It syncs all actions assigned to the fundraiser. So not only gift-related actions. Hope that helps!
