Where do we identify students who are veterans?

I'm trying to setup our NSC reports for the first time in Education Management and do not see where we can identify a student as a veteran. Do we have to create a custom field? Seems odd if we do as logically, I would think it should be a set field on the student record. Have I missed something in the documentation?

    But, also mentioned you could contact support to take a look at your site to make sure this field is not already setup on your site.

    That document is actually what prompted my question about where we can identify students who are also veterans. I already have a support ticket open regarding some of the other items mentioned in those instructions, such as Enrollment Status and U.S. Citizenship. Unfortunately, the individual handling that ticket, along with their colleagues, appears to be completely unaware of these instructions, which is concerning.

    As a result, I still feel very much in the dark about how the underlying data should be configured and where the information that populates these lists is actually sourced from.
