SQL Read-only Credential Rotation available in Cloud Portal

Recently, we released an update to the Cloud Portal - for customers hosted in Blackbaud Cloud Operations - that enabled customers to rotate the SQL read-only credentials when required.

Passwords for the SQL read-only connection will still be automatically updated on the Sunday before expiration, but to update this before this date, customers were required to create a case with Blackbaud Support.

Now, when you log into Cloud Portal, you will be able to rotate the credentials ahead of any mandated password rotation, allowing for a smooth rotation of the credentials when used in integrations or ahead of critical operational periods.
