Payment type on donation form

Hello,

We want to add cheque account payment type on donation form. I have noticed that some organizations add the cheque account pay type on monthly donation form, not on onetime form. What is pros and cons? What need to pay attention?

    Not sure why you would omit it from a one-time form, but the real benefit presumably comes from sustainers. There is no expiration date on ACH like there is with credit cards, so the payments don't lapse because there is no card to expire.


    They are only about 2% of our donations and we've only had it as an option for around a year, so I don't have really sold numbers on how long they actually sustain on average.

    Thank you Brian for your quick response.

    Maybe because of charging back fee is high, some organizations don't put this payment on onetime donation form. Charging back donation/refund happens during busy season.
