I am trying to ascertain how many of our memberships from last year were from lapsed members - is there a way to separate those numbers out?

    Hi, @Stephanie Jordan! This is easily done, but depends on your definition of lapsed. You can look at the Activity Page for your membership program and specify the dates for last year:

    Or you could create a query that shows primary members only who expired last year.

    If you're looking for memberships that lapsed and then were renewed, it's a bit more complicated. You'll need a query with an export to show the most recent membership transaction and the next most recent. Then you can compare the expiration date on the next most recent with the transaction date of the most recent.

    @KAS Shannon Knight Yes! This activity tab helps my membership manager a lot, but for a deeper dive I would want to see which lapsed membership were renewal and guesstimate the average time it takes a lapsed membership to renew
