Omatic - ImportOmatic and DB Assistant Tool feedback

I’m looking for insight from users of Omatic’s ImportOmatic and their newer Database Assistant tool. Looking for feedback on ease of use, ease of implementation, Omatic’s support, etc. as we are considering purchasing these tools. I have seen similar posts on this forum but most are a few years old so am looking for more current feedback.

We are a Preschool and Elementary school of about 400 students with our main imports being for our annual import of new students, parents and grandparents. We are also considering using ImportOmatic for monthly Benevity/Fidelity type imports which we currently handle manually. Not a significant amount of imports but am looking to ease the ones we do with a simpler more complete process than what the current RE DB view import allows.

FYI, I currently import basic record information via RE DB view but then do many of the additional record adjustments manually post import as that was simpler than doing multiple DB view imports for some of these tasks (ie. Add relationships, share addresses, soft credit/head of household settings, etc.). My understanding is ImportOMatic will allow me to do many of these ‘post import’ tasks all at once which will be a huge time savings during my busiest time.

Is anyone using their DB Assistant tool? Any feedback? I am very interested in using it based on the demo as it seems like it would be extremely helpful for us as students graduate or do not return for the next school year as we need to update RE records accordingly for them as well as for all their relationships. Would love to hear how this tool is being used and if it ‘does what they say’ it can do.
