Receipt History Missing & No record of receipt email having been sent

I'm trying to figure out receipting in Unified View, and I have discovered that on the gift, even if you have generated a receipt, created a duplicate or replaced the original receipt with a new one, the 'receipt history' section shows 'no receipt history found'. I don't see anyone else in these posts highlighting this issue, so this seems really strange. l've reported to support but they haven't figured it out. Also, there is nothing under the constituent's email history to indicate that their receipt email was ever sent to them. These two things combined seem to be very critical pieces that are missing in being able to properly track receipts.

    Hi Patty, I'm a Cdn user as well and can echo this. The best way to see if the receipt was sent successfully is within the receipting module, where you can see a tab for Failed Gift Receipts. They do not show up in email history. I searched in the vote board, and found someone posted about it, I added my comment, I recommend you do so as well!

    Keep us all posted on what you hear back. My gut says because it's a feature not used by their US clients, it likely just wan't on their radar. Much of the Canadian receipting functionality has been a game of playing catch-up trying to get it fully functional, and it's only half-way there.
