Regarding usage Gift lists and Constituents.

For easier tracking/
cross work

I have noticed
Constituent and Gift lists have different column and filters available. So
sometimes we have to use both to get the info we want, and combine them later in
excel.

Can 'addresses' be added as an optional input in 'gift lists'
Or are there any tips to be shared?

Hello, @Natalie Noyes! Both Constituent and Gift lists in web view have limited functionality, and I see what you mean about not being able to get all of the info you need through one list type. If I had to guess, it may be because the Gift list focuses on things at the gift level, rather than the donor level, and it was built with this in mind. This may be something to put into the Idea Bank with an option to toggle/select which address you want to see when gifts are soft credited. For example, you might want to see the address for the human soft-credited donor who gave through the [insert name here] Foundation, rather than the Foundation itself. I'm thinking since you already have to do some slicing and dicing in a spreadsheet that it may be better to set up a query and export everything you need into one spreadsheet rather than use the web view lists. If I think of anything else, I'll let you know.

Use Query on Webview will allow far more filtering and output
