Streamlined Contact Card for Emergency Situations that Can be Printed/Shared

[REPOSTED]

This discussion has been posted on other ends on Blackbaud's platform but I want to repost this discussion as this seems like something that needs to be implemented in an SIS system like Blackbaud:

The Contact Card is great because it contains a lot of Student information while also including a photo of the student. The Contact Card however, can't be printed [or shared] from within the system.

It would be great to have a version of the Contact Card that was a little more streamlined. Something that included the Student's name, photo, relationships, contact information, and medical information that can be printed out in case of emergencies would be very helpful.

This feature would be super effective when needing to send these contact card records to officials. There just needs to be a simpler way to print out/share via PDF of this information when needed.

  • Hi @Tatum Lee,

It's Elizabeth, the K-12 Community Manager. @Bryna Gleich is spot on about how to get your ideas seen by the developers. Once you submit your idea, please return to this thread and ask you community members to vote on it.

@Derek Nichols wrote a helpful blog on how to get your ideas in motion!

  • @Elizabeth Perron @Bryna Gleich Thanks for the suggestion. That's actually where I first saw this discussion thread posted on the ideas page. However, It looks like the last discussion was in 2018 and I want this issue to be revisited. As my school has been demanding this feature to be implemented. Hoping someone at Blackbaud can pick this back up again.
