We are two-thirds of the way through the first 100 days of the Blackbaud Grantmaking SKY View release, and we are thrilled to...
share updates on the continuous-feature rollout with you.
Over half of our Blackbaud Grantmaking customers have started to use the new view and are now able to provide valuable feedback, adding to the lessons learned during the early-adopter program and Blackbaud’s own quality-control testing. All of your feedback helps to inform our work as we continue to enhance Blackbaud Grantmaking SKY View, by bringing functionality over from the Classic View and releasing new features.
We look forward to sharing with you what’s next during our upcoming Product Update Briefings in April (registration link soon to be released). Until then, here is a look at what we have accomplished so far...
Current Release Information
We publish all our release information in the Getting Started with Blackbaud Grantmaking SKY View Guide, which is always available on our customer success page at: hello.blackbaud.com/CustomerSuccess-Blackbaud-Grantmaking.
And in an effort to increase awareness about recent product enhancements, we’ll also be regularly posting release information here on Blackbaud Community.

Your feedback is very important to us, and we want to hear from you! In addition to our pre-recorded content and open office sessions, we are also holding a series of small-group listening sessions. Registration details for these virtual listening sessions will be sent via email to customers who are currently using the SKY View. If you wish to participate in a session and have yet to receive an email, please contact Alexis.Fish@blackbaud.com. In addition, we will soon be launching a New Ideas site, which will be the primary spot for feature suggestions.
As a reminder, if you encounter an unexpected experience in the system, the best thing to do is let us know by submitting a Support Case. And with Blackbaud Grantmaking SKY View, you can quickly and easily do this via your solution! Here’s how:
- Go to www.blackbaud.com in the browser of your choice to login with your Blackbaud single-sign-on credentials (BBID);
- Once you’re logged in, click on the hamburger menu located at the top left of the screen to see the dropdown list of your Blackbaud solutions, and click on 'Grantmaking'
- Once you’re in Blackbaud Grantmaking, click on the green and white question mark icon at the top right of your screen;
- At the bottom of this fly-out, you’ll see a link to 'Case Central,' where you can start a live chat with Blackbaud Support or create and submit a new case.
This process allows you to stay up to date on any issues you’ve submitted. Simply navigate back to 'Case Central' in Blackbaud Grantmaking SKY View, or visit support.blackbaud.com/support/cases.

How Far We Have Come
November marked the release of all of the major features of Blackbaud Grantmaking SKY View, while keeping the administrative features and some cosmetic features in the Classic View. This release enabled us to begin provisioning current customers right away to Blackbaud Grantmaking SKY View, while continuing to deliver more features.
The following is a list of... all that we have accomplished so far on the left, and... our remaining to-do items on the right; and our posts right here in the coming months will focus on the items on the right that are left for completion, including any additional updates and few feature additions.
